About
ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL & GOVERNANCE
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
As one of our core values, we take ESG seriously. Before this was top of mind and published reports for most companies, our focus on environmental, social, and governance has been a part of our DNA from the very beginning. We make this our main focus through:
- ENVIRONMENTAL | Advancing sustainability through the responsible reuse and recycling of IT hardware.
- SOCIAL | Donating computers to provide positive impact on education, digital inclusion, employment, and community development.
- GOVERNANCE | Cultivating inclusion by fostering workplace diversity and opportunities for the people in our community.

circularity & impact data
Through Apto’s Circularity Report, we are able to show how and where our customers’ retired IT assets are recycled and reused.Â
Our Environmental Impact Calculator measures real-time data that can be factored into your broader ESG efforts. This includes the reduction of GHG emissions, toxic materials diverted from landfills, and total metals recovered.Â
All this data is available through Apto’s Client Portal.

Extending Technology & Empowering People
Apto Solutions partners with organizations that use technology to create lasting social impact.
In Tanzania, our donations to Reneal International Education Outreach help equip underfunded schools with computers and learning tools. In Georgia, our partnership with St. Vincent de Paul supports individuals transitioning to stable housing, employment, and continued education.
Together, we’re giving IT assets a second life — and giving people a stronger start.

governance
cultivating inclusion & creating opportunities
At Apto Solutions, we lead with integrity, transparency, and inclusion — embedding these principles into every decision we make. We believe diversity and accountability drive better outcomes, which is why we apply these values not only internally, but also in how we select partners and engage with our communities.
One example is our partnership with Marietta City Schools on the Mpower program, which equips students with disabilities (ages 18–22) with hands-on IT skills and workplace readiness. Through computer disassembly and recycling, students build both technical and soft skills that prepare them for future employment.Â
